Keeping with the 'wedding theme,' I thought I would share details of our honeymoon - probably my favorite vacation ever! I'm not a huge fan of flying, and we wanted to spend as much time on our actual vacation as possible, so we decided to head to Cabo, which is only about a 2 1/2 hour flight.
We stayed at
Esperanza, an Auberge Resort - a great place for a honeymoon or any private getaway. There are only about 60 (or so) villas, so it has a very intimate feel, and is a very secure resort with a private beach (so important - if you've been to Mexico, you know what I mean).
Each villa has an ocean view and a hot tub on the balcony - so great after a day at the beach!

We spent one day in town, visiting the arc and enjoying a bucket of beers on the beach. It was fun to get away from the resort and experience 'true Cabo' for a few hours.
We had a great trip, and can't wait to head back to Cabo once Sophia gets a little older. We are thinking of trying a new place on our next visit - any suggestions? We are thinking Palmilla, Las Ventanas, or ME Cabo...ever been? Hope you're having a great week!
