Accessorized Abode

I'm not sure what it is about moving, but every time I turn the key to a new home...I want to start over and buy everything NEW (especially with this move)! Do you know what I mean? However, when I bring myself out of dreamland and back to reality, I know this isn't an option. Instead of repurchasing an entire house, I focus on new accessories (which can easily add up, if you're not careful!). It's amazing how much of an impact accessories make in a space. Here a few goodies I'm considering adding to my home, you like?

Arm Candy

I love accessorizing my wardrobe with jewelry. There is no limit to what you can create, and jewelry can transform any old outfit into an eye-catching look. My must-have accessory remains the bracelet. I feel naked without mine; most nights, I even sleep with them on. My favorite way to don the bracelet: stacked. Nothing has me swooning more than an arm-full of beautifully stacked bangles, beads, or cuffs...I don't discriminate.

The Weekend & 'The Bump'

It's almost the weekend! Tomorrow night, we are heading to LA for the Laker's game. I haven't been to a game since we moved to California, and it should be exciting, considering it's the playoffs! Sporting events and fashion can be tricky...and there's a very fine line between what is 'acceptable,' and 'What the french toast is she wearing?!' We all know what I'm talking about...

I love me some Kim K...but the uni-sleeve fur jacket...really?

Woven Delights

Hello and Happy Friday! I can't believe it's the weekend again...yippee! We don't have much planned since we are so far from our mamas (sad), but there is always something going on and I'll be sure to give you the update on Monday.

I love my mom...but really, who doesn't love their mom? I happen to have the most amazing mother a girl could ask for. There is just something special and unique about that mother/daughter bond...and my mom is truly my best friend. Love you, Mom!

DIY Brass Figurines

Good afternoon! I saw the most fab DIY Brass Figurines on  Hi Sugarplum's blog, and I just had to share! How cute are these? I have been drooling over a few Jonathan Adler pieces for the past few months, but don't feel right about spending $500 on a figurine...I mean, come on. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I saw this amazing ($5) project. I'm especially loving the elephant -- what do you think? Enjoy!

Hello, and welcome to our second "Mad About Monday!" Today, I am bringing you COLOR! I am in love with bright colors as of late, and Spring 2012 is going to be all about color blocking and pastels -- I can't wait, can you?
