My Weekend

As you may have noticed from Friday's post, I spent my weekend traveling to a dear friend's (gorgeous) wedding, my baby shower, and a Father's Day celebration. It was an amazing time filled with family and many friends I hadn't seen in far too long!

Beautiful, right?

My sweet Grammie Cakes is a brilliant quilter, and she will be making a quilt for my babe. We spent some time hours perusing the aisles of the fabric store, and finally found what we were looking for. She typically whips up intricate-patterned quilts, but I fell in love with a large elephant print, so we decided on a solid front and back - I am so excited!

the winners - do you love them as much as I do?

we spent some time DIY-ing onesies and burp cloths...how adorable is this idea?

mini cheesecakes from my shower...delicious!

father's day brunch at my brother & sister-in-law's...cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit & egg bake
i am getting hungry

I loved being able to spend Father's Day with my own dad...he is such an important part of my life, and the best father a girl could ask for. I know everyone thinks that of their own dad, but really...mine is!

 then

now

from my wedding...Love you, Dad!

How did you spend your weekend?
